Thinking of visiting Arlington Community Church for the first time?

We would be honored to have you as our guest. We want your visit to be a pleasant and joyful experience. With that in mind, here are some questions you may have about our church before you visit.

What should I wear?

Whatever modest attire you feel comfortable in. Our normal attire on Sunday morning is casual. We know that God is more concerned with the heart than the outward appearance.

Will I need my Bible?

Yes. If you don’t have a Bible you can pick one up from one of the back tables. One of Arlington Community Church’s strengths is our Bible teaching. We teach the Bible verse-by-verse, and you’ll want to be able to follow along.

What kinds of music will I hear?

We offer a blended worship style. In our service, you may hear everything from classical music and the great hymns of the faith, to newer praise choruses. We try to have something for everyone to allow each person the chance to respond to God through worship in a way they can relate to.

Where do I go when I get there?

Our worship services are held in our Family Life Center, the building on the north side of our parking lot. As you go in the large glass doors of that building, you will be greeted by someone who would love to answer any questions you may have.

When are the services?

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. Bible classes are available for all ages beginning at 9:30 a.m. On Wednesday evening, Adult Bible studies begin at 7:00 p.m. AWANA and youth ministries begin at 6:45 p.m.

What about my children?

Children from five years old through fourth grade are invited to take part in Children’s Church. They will be dismissed after the music portion of the adult service for a time of singing and Bible teaching geared specifically for them, and can be picked up immediately following the adult service.

Do you have a nursery?

We have a well-equipped nursery for babies and a tot room for 2-4 year olds, staffed by loving parents like you. These workers are carefully screened, and do their best to provide your child a safe environment in which to play while you worship.
